This doll is worth every last cent! She epitomizes fashion and beauty from the turn of the century. Her gown, with the elegant sequin-look and "2000" spelled all over makes her simply irresistable! Her hair is stylishly gathered atop her head and bedecked with silver star-shaped ornaments complete with tiny "rubies" in the centers. Her earrings are magnificent, having the same look as the hair jems, but dangle and frame her face so perfectly! Her dress is held up halter style with a chain of rhinestones and to finish off, a red sating stole lined in shimmery white material. She is particularly dazzling if you let the stole sort of fall off of the shoulders and raise her beautiful face and big blue eyes toward the ceiling. If you collect Barbies, this is one you can't live without!

She loved it! She was thrilled because she was born in 2000. Perfect collectors item. Can't speak to durability as it is not played with.
