This is the most awesome collection Ken ever It was sold out in most stores or when I did find it, the box was damaged. I am very happy with my purchase as it came in mint condition. 10 stars
Mattel has out done themselves with the first Ken doll in their series of dolls from around the world with JAPAN KEN DOLL. The handsome doll is outfitted with a traditional Samurai costume, long soft-black hair with "chomage" topknot, boots, and "Katana" sword.
The face paint is quite remarkable, as Ken looks Japanese and gorgeous.
This doll is probably only educational in that it might get kids wondering about Japan and Samurai history, but other than that I don't think they'd get much out of it.
Anyway, the doll is super cool looking and I'm looking forward to seeing the next "Ken" in this series.
Great for doll collectors and those who are fans of Japanese culture/history.
