Before you play with these, you can save a lot of frustration by adding some sticky-back Velcro to the straps of the shirt. The button is ridiculously tiny and I think it might easily fall off with too much struggling to get it fastened. Otherwise, it seems well-made.
A coat of clear nail polish over the glittery shoes might keep so much from falling off. There was already a lot of glitter off when we opened the box. Most of the shoes are incredible, but we did have a strap break on one shoe with fairly little, gentle use. It wasn't one of the shoes we love best, though.
I bought this new on a collectors' site for $15.99 earlier this year. In my opinion, that's all it is worth, and only if you're seriously into playing/collecting Barbies.

I think the accessory pack is a good buy in the store. I brought mine in a toy store for cheaper. The set is not for young children. It's more for the collect of dolls. Some clothes items, like the top has a small botton which could easily be broken by very young children. Plus the glitter does come off the shoes and get on stuff. I would say this is more of an adult collector -choice.
